In this session, we’ll explore how advanced data intelligence solutions can help organizations manage consent effectively and maintain compliance in an era of automation. In 2025, two of the largest privacy concerns will be AI and the protection of children online. AI is rapidly becoming a component of platforms that children use every day. Lawmakers and regulators have attempted to bridge the gap between the protections for children's data under COPPA and the protections for minors between 13 and 18.
In this session, BigID & GTK Law Group will explore responsible AI governance and evolving children's privacy laws. We will focus on state, educational technology, social media laws, and new federal rules regarding COPPA. Additionally, we'll explore AI regulations with specific children's privacy laws and laws with heightened obligations related to children's data and AI.
